Nursery Story

Based in the village of Harvington in the Vale of Evesham the nursery is in a traditional English market garden area. It was started by Hugh and Liz Nunn and their children Tim, Pippa and Penny in 1985. See photographs of the first plant growing bed:

By small incremental steps the nursery has grown into a somewhat larger but still modest nursery. Gentians in great variety were grown in the early years and we still grow the lovely Willow Gentian (Gentiana asclepiadea) from seed originating from Sissinghurst Castle in Kent.
